I had the exact same experience as other users. BEWARE! While I was looking for a customer number, from their own website, PISSEDCONSUMER.COM appeared with the phone number.I don't know how they were able to hack into my personal browsing, but I wish that you can do something to stop this practice. I've read some of the reviews about Pissed Consumer, and their response to each is a canned reply to the effect "While using our website you agreed to our Terms of Use and were registered as a result".I won't say that I didn't click somewhere in order to use the number that I needed, but I didn't realise that they were taking my information and creating an account. I don't care how they did what they did. But it is apparent that they are hacking and scamming people on a regular basis. I am reporting this, a copy of same email complaint, to the BBB, and possibly to the FTC as well. What I would like from PISSEDCONSUMER.COM, Consumer Opinion LLC, and any other affiliates, is to to delete all my information they have gathered, all personal information, and all data in any format. PISSEDCONSUMER.COM is not permitted to use, sell, distribute nor share my information with any entities whatsoever.

Small business owners and consumers beware of this consumer site as the majority of its user demographic (those leaving reviews) are more likely to leave negative reviews as they are statistically in a lower-income class. Furthermore, Yelp offers incentives for their Yelp Elite members. Yelp knows bad reviews sell and thus incentivize their expert gossip hounds. Yelp has hurt thousands of businesses and people by way of allowing incentivized users to vent their frustrations and thus scar an innocent party forever.
